Child Safety Standards
Effective 8 October 2026
Saathi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and trafficking.
Our standards
- Adults only. Saathi is for people aged 18 and over. Age is checked at sign-up, trips can only be set for adults, and we remove any account we learn belongs to a minor.
- Prohibited content and conduct. Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden by our Terms of Service, including attempts to contact, meet or travel with minors.
- In-app reporting. Every profile and conversation can be reported from the app, and anyone can be blocked instantly. Reports go to our trained staff for review.
- Action we take. We remove violating content, permanently ban the accounts involved, preserve relevant evidence, and report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the appropriate authorities — in India through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to law enforcement, and to NCMEC where applicable.
- Cooperation with law enforcement. We respond to valid legal requests and cooperate with investigations into child safety.
How to report
- In the app: open the profile or message → Report.
- By email: support@saathitravel.com (subject "Child safety"). We prioritise these reports.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (112 in India) or the Childline helpline (1098 in India).
