Saathi

Terms of Service

Effective 8 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Saathi for using the Saathi apps and services. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Saathi

2. What Saathi is — and isn't

Saathi helps travelers find each other, plan trips, chat and split costs. We don't organise, operate, or sell trips, and we're not a travel agent, accommodation provider or payment service. Trips, meet-ups and stays are arranged between users. You decide who to travel or meet with, and you are responsible for your own choices and safety.

3. Safety

Saathi is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call local emergency services first (112 in India). SOS, check-ins and location sharing are extra help, not a guarantee: alerts can be delayed or fail because of network, device or provider problems, and texts to emergency contacts may not be available in every country or at every time.

4. Community rules

You agree not to:

5. Your content

You own what you post. You give Saathi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it only to run and improve the service. You're responsible for your content and must have the right to share it. We may remove content and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put people at risk, and we may do so without notice in serious cases.

6. Money between travelers

Expense splitting in Saathi is a record-keeping tool. Payments happen outside Saathi, directly between users. We're not responsible for debts, refunds or disputes between travelers, though you can report fraud to us.

7. AI assistant

The Saathi AI trip assistant can be wrong or out of date. Check prices, opening times, travel rules and safety information yourself before relying on them.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your information.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Saathi is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for the conduct of other users, for trips, stays or meet-ups arranged through Saathi, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights in your country. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will notify you of significant changes in the app. Questions: support@saathitravel.com.
